The 2nd Annual Kickstand Classic will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2017.
No spandex required! Racers are electronically timed and grouped with people of similar abilities on a car-free course in beautiful Northwest Suburban Bartlett.
New this year
Active Trans welcomes the Davis Phinney Foundation and the Sub-5 Ride to the Kickstand Classic course. The Davis Phinney riders are attempting to complete a Century (100 miles!) in under 5 hours while raising money for Parkinson’s research. Please be alert for these riders during the race. And give a cheer you pass each other the course!
Participants will race on a car-free, loop course and are grouped into waves with people who bike at similar speeds. See how fast you can ride for this 10, 14.5 or 19-mile race. You choose the distance. Each participant is electronically chip timed for accuracy.
Registration includes a commemorative cotton tee shirt, on-course technical bike support, a rest stop with light snacks and water, age group awards, and access to a post ride festival featuring a free beer by Revolution Brewing, entertainment and more.
