The Kickstand Classic is a new bike race for cyclists of all abilities riding any type of bike, be that a cruiser, hybrid or racing bike. Everyone is welcome!
Participants race on a car-free, loop course and are grouped into waves with people who bike at similar speeds. See how fast you can rock the clock for this 19-mile race. Each participant is electronically chip timed for accuracy.
Registration includes Kickstand Classic commemorative wicking tech t-shirt and finisher’s ribbon, on-course technical bike support, a rest stop with light snacks and water, age group awards, and access to a post ride festival with a live band and more.
Kickstand Classic is September 25, 2016, in beautiful northwest suburban Bartlett, which is 30 miles or less from both the north and west sides of Chicago and not much further from the south. Accessible by Metra, with free parking for motorists.
We hope to open registration in late May – check back for updates!
